Pattern for a gun stock made at the Sheets (or Sheetz) house in Shepherdstown. The pattern was probably made for the Harpers Ferry Arsenal. The single piece of wood was used as a fence picket, part of an entire fence made of these items. Three nails are in the board and three holes near top.
