Description

Large Victorian female doll wearing white short-sleeved dress with embroidery around top and sleeves; pantaloon petticoat with embroidery; brown socks with darker brown circular pattern; leather high top shoes with laces. Cloth body with kid-leather arms and papier mache head with extensive cracking and molded black hair behind the ears with central parting. Gold band on doll's right wrist may be a wedding ring. Doll resembles a Ludwig Greiner doll from Philadelphia, Pa., patent 1858.
