Bronze colored medal in two parts with bottom piece hung from red, white and blue ribbon. Top piece has a bear on top with "LOS ANGELES" SEP. 1912" below the bear. The bottom piece is oval with "G.A.R." at top and "SAN GABRIEL MISSION 46TH NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT" at bottom. In center is depiction of San Gabriel Mission. On back is "COMPLIMENTS OF FEDERATED OHIO SOCIETIES".Acquisition
