First Public School in Charles Town, for white children, 1849-1893, corner of Charles and North Streets across from Asbury United Methodist Church. Later used as a warehouse and then as the Jefferson Creamery Company 1937-1948, and in 2012 owned by Asbury United Methodist Church.
