Small, mostly tin typewriter with round disk with numbers and letters. The disk was turned and each letter was pressed by hand onto the paper. In large letters on the disk "THE PRACTICAL TYPEWRITER NO 3". U.S. patent dates are August 30, 1892 and March 21, 1899. Also had British, French and German patents. Typewriter is in a cardboard box which has directions for use glued to the underside of the lid. The name of the company was Simplex Typewriter Company.Acquisition
