Description

Spanish-American War era uniform with tunic and trousers. Tunic has five eagle buttons down front and buttons on four pockets as well as two buttons holding the epaulets in place. There are two hook and eye closures on the hight collar. There are what may be sergeant's stripes on the right sleeve. The trousers were made for riding a horse with reinforced seat and narrowed legs for riding boots. The bottom of the legs have laces with nine lace holes. The pants were made for suspenders and also has belt loops.
