Description

Thomas Hahn's Navy blue formal dress uniform. Short jacket has four captain's stripes at the cuffs with a star above. Jacket has six gold buttons with spread-winged eagle standing on an anchor. However, the jacket is held closed with a chain like a pocket watch chain on the inside of the front. There are eleven medals pinned to the left breast area. These are smaller versions of the full-size medals normally worn on a non-formal uniform. Inside the jacket is a label that says "WORLD FAMOUS Novakoff Bros. UNIFORMS BOSTON". Trousers have zipper fly and belt loops. Inside on the left waistband is a white label. On it is "NAVAL UNIFORM SHOP BROOKLYN 32 NEW YORK Name T.F. HAHN Rank CAPT Corps USN.............". Leather belt with brass adjustment keepers for size and round buckle with navy emblem of spread-winged eagle standing on an anchor surrounded by a wreath. Also includes a clip-on long tie.
