Description

U. S. Air Force, dark blue dress uniform; Military tuxedo. Consists of short jacket and pants with suspenders. Jacket has satin lapel. Satin goes all the way around collar. There are six dull silver Air Force insignia buttons on jacket front. Two dull silver buttons on a short chain are the closure for a single button hole. The jacket comes to points on the bottom. There are silver bands around each cuff. There are silver epaulet board on the shoulder. Each has a dull silver button and the star of a brigadier general. On the left breast are three rows of 13 miniature medals. Above the medals are Air Force wings with a star above, the insignia of a master pilot. Label sewn inside right side below pocket says "PATRIOT STYLED BY Weintraub Bros. Co. PHILADELPHIA DRY CLEAN ONLY". Pants have black satin stripe sewn down each side. Pants have zipper fly. Suspenders are attached with black leather button on straps. There is a gold colored minuteman pinned to one suspender. A yellow certification and care label is sewn to the inside right pocket. "PATRIOT is repeated around the waistband in a white strip of cloth.
