Description

20th century paper flour bag (empty) from Feagan's Mill. Bag is off-white with subtle striped patterned background. A colored landscape drawing of a mill and stream is at the center of the bag. Red stamp at the top of the bag reads: GRAFFLIN BAGS BALTIMORE. Red and black text surrounding the center image reads: 5 LBS. NET FRESH WATER GROUND STONE BUHR WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR CONTAINS EVERY ESSENTIAL TO THE NOURISHMENT OF THE HUMAN BODY MANUFACTURED BY FEAGAN'S MILL POST OFFICE:-CHARLES TOWN, W.VA. TEL. 206-23.
