Description

20th century clear glass ashtray with squared border and circular dish, advertising Melvin T. Strider Funeral Home in Charles Town, W.Va. There is a single groove on each corner for resting a cigarette. The underside of the dish is painted blue with a white line border and inverted white text so that it is read through the transparent glass when the ashtray is upright. Text reads: "I'M FROM THE MELVIN T. STRIDER CO."
