Small piece of paper with 2 handwritten notes, one on either side of the page, related to a plat by James Brown (catalog #ARC182), which was donated to the museum by Susan Blatchford's daughter) . On one side, note is addressed to "Dear Miss Laura" and signed S. Howell Brown. Dated "Oakland July 4, 1902." The other side is dated October 6, 1914 and reads: "This old map was drawn by James Brown (your grandfather) for my uncle J.B.W. to be used in the Wager Division 1835. Was [given me?] by your father S.H. Brown." It is signed E.B. Wager
