Fifty-five telegrams sent to Milton Burr from February 25 to March 10, 1920, in support/opposition to women's suffrage, including one from Woodrow Wilson. Goldsborough, Charlotte Pendleton Goldsborough, E. T. Reinhard, T. B. Line, G. W. Billmyer, H. M. Turner, J. L. Osburn, G. W. Banks, J. H. Hill, G. W. Ferrell, J. W. Gardner, R. C. Grove, C. N. Whiting, Harrison Schley, A. S. Dandridge, R. J. Hamrick, C. J. Cavalier, Virginia Lucas, Mrs. George W. Knott, Fanny B. Loman, Melvin T. Strider, Frank Bushong, C. H. Strider, H. Clay Getzendanner, and H. K. Dandridge. Also included is a letter from Miss Florence Hoge regarding suffrage, a $3 check to J. Frank Myers, and three documents regarding fire insurance for the M.E. Church at Bardane, West Virginia (July 1931). A cut-out piece from a newspaper regarding the death of President Milton Burr of the Bank of Charles Town. Milton Burr was a Jefferson County businessman and state senator.
