Items from the William Baker Hall family of Jefferson County belonging to and/or concerning Baker Hall; his parents, John Hite Hall and Louisa Tapscott Tabb Hall; his maternal grandparents Harrison Noble Tabb and Maud Juliet Opie White Tabb; his siblings, Elizabeth Hite Hall, Louisa Tabb Hall, John Harrison Hall, Virginia Opie Hall Pue (m. Collection includes pamphlets, books, recipe (or receipt) book, photographs, negatives, news clippings, and papers (correspondence, receipts, certificates, military and other government records), three copper-engraving name plates (engraved Miss Elizabeth Hite Hall, Miss Virginia Opie Hall, Mr. John Harrison Hall); a small leather change purse with initials KCH, and 2 World War I identification tags for Baker Hall, 3 Civil War era letters written by James Ijams to his niece, Nannie, who may be Louisa Tapscott Tabb (letters deal with military activity in the Shenandoah Valley).
