Thin, flat, gold-colored metal brooch in the shape of Harriet Lane Johnston's monogram. The most prominent letter in the monogram is H, while the other letters appear to include some or all of the initials R, L, and/or J. Straight pin with clasp across the backing. There is a name inscribed in the back of the brooch, possibly "Lougo"? Item is likely associated with Harriet Lane Johnston, due to the initials and its presence in her jewelry box.
