World War I circular, aluminum identification tag belonging to James W. Milton, the donor's father-in-law; on front of tag is "153" in the center and "J. W. Milton" along the arc at the bottom and on back of tag is "CO I 30" in the center and "547586" along the arc at the left side of the bottom
A cord is attached to a brass clip which in turn is attached to the tag through a hole in the tag. Imprinted in the brass piece where the clip attaches to the cord is "PAT. FEB.-20-17".
Cord has brass piece that slides along the cord.Acquisition
