Description

Cabin on the Shenandoah River near the bridge at the Bloomery off Route 9 Robert S. Orndorff writes: "This is a photo of Dad's cabin he built on the edge of the Shenandoah River at the bridge at the Bloomery off Route 9 - along a road along the river bank a ways down as you could drive down underneath the bridge. That is my mother standing on porch. Dad fished a lot so he built his cabin there. Inside was an old fashioned iron cook stove. The structure in front is a walk-way so you wouldn't get feet muddy. The cabin was washed away in the big flood."
