A collection related to James Rumsey and the invention of the steamboat, as follows:
1. An account of the Atlanta Fair, taken from The Sun, Baltimore, Tuesday, December 3, 1895, consisting of 4 typed pages; includes comment on models of Rumsey's steamboat.
2. Small newspaper clipping, "Honor the Name of Rumsey," signed by Hattie Reynolds. written in pencil on the clipping is 1907 honoring the name of Rumsey.
3. A pamphlet titled: "A Brief Account of Last Century's Inventive Steam Pirate" by John Moray, published 1910
4. A pamphlet of The Rumseian Society 1788-1906, report by Daniel B. Lucas, President, on James Rumsey and his steamboat, published 1908
