Gothic-style stone structure built in 1901 by African Americans as the Halltown Union Colored Sunday School on land donated by the Lucas family. The Sunday school closed in 1967; chapel continued to be used for weddings and funerals; building restored 1982-83; listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
