Small china bowl with pink rim; in center of bowl is picture of St. George's Chapel in circle; printed below picture: "St. George Chapel, Charles Town, W.Va. Built ----- [date is worn off]". On reverse is red circle with the following words in red inside the circle: "CHARLES W. BROWN CHARLES TOWN, W. V." These bowls and other similar decorative items were sold by Charles W. Brown in his jewelry shop on West Washington Street in Charles Town from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. The store was located at 130 West Washington Street, near the corner of Charles Street and West Washington Street.
