St. James Roman Catholic Church dedicated 1889; later became the Priory of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary when the Canons Regular of the New Jerusalem moved to Charles Town; in 2011 the Canons began saying the Latin mass in the former St. James Church.
