Scope and Content

The Marmion Collection consists of a ledger and seven documents created by members of the Marmion family of Harpers Ferry between 1844 and 1893. As an assistant surgeon on the U.S.S. The seven miscellaneous documents include a house lease document, a deed of bill and sale, a workman's note of work delay; U.S. Civil War military guards pass; land lease for cattle and horses; an I.O.U.; and an account record for prescriptions and medicine.
