In 2020 the Harpers Ferry Post Office is on 1010 Washington Street. The date of establishment of the first post office in Harpers Ferry is unknown, but was likely prior to 1837. John G. Wilson was appointed postmaster on June 5, 1837. There were two prior postmasters but postal records do not give dates for their appointments.
