This building on Kabletown Road, a private home in 2020, once held the Kabletown Post Office. The post office entrance was by the door on the right of the building.
First established on January 25, 1833, the first post office was located 1.5 miles west of the Shenandoah River and 200 yards south of Bullskin run. The post office ended operations and mail was transferred to Charles Town on June 6, 1929.
