Description

US five-cent coin, 1837. On front of coin is a bust of Lady Liberty facing leftwards. Inscribed on a band on Lady Libery's head is the word LIBERTY and the year 1837 is at the bottom of the coin. Around the outer edge are 13 stars. On the back of coin is an eagle perched on a branch and holding three arrows with the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA above and 5C representing the denomination 5 cents below.
