A collection of documents and artifacts from the Virginia Duff Tabb and Lyle C. Tabb family of Vinemont Farm in the Leetown area of Jefferson County. Virginia (GeeGee) Burns Duff Tabb (1925-2017) of Avon Bend Orchard near Kabletown and Lyle Campbell Tabb II (1920-1994) of Vinemont Farm were married in 1946 and raised crops and animals at Vinemont for several decades. They had six children: Lyle C. III, Walter, Robert, Virginia (Jennie) Lou, David, and Howard. Virginia Burns Duff's scrapbook (brown) containing items related primarily to her senior year and May 1943 graduation from Charles Town High School. Items from 1944 and 1945 relate to her 4H activities, a basketball tournament, and a Jefferson County Young Farm Group radio program.
Post cards: About 220 addressed post cards with postmarks from 1937-2009 and about 200 post cards with no names/ addresses (many are Potomac Edison post cards); pictured are scenes from Jefferson County, across the United States, and several other countries.

-About 45 post cards addressed to children of Virginia and Lyle Tabb and other family members (Charles W. Duff [Virginia Duff Tabb's father], James E. Tabb, Mrs. J. E. Tabb [Anna Lea Carter Tabb], Anna Tabb, Annie King)
-12 are addressed to other people (not known to be Tabb family members)
Artifacts:
-A leather French coin purse with BREVETE (French for patented) engraved on clasp and four inside compartments
-A woman's folding hand fan, cream colored and decorated on one side
-Block of wood (4' x 5 1/2" x 13/16") handpainted on one side with the picture of a man. Typewritten on a label on the back is "M. Emily Tabb Marmion gave this picture of Capt. Kable to Va. D. Tabb. It was painted by L. C. Tabb (1857-1918) Dec 1972"
Miscellaneous documents (one folder):
