Twenty-nine post record membership cards for the African American American Legion Post in Charles Town: the Green- Copeland American Legion Post 63. The cards contain members' name, address, business or profession, business address, and dues paid. Each card has a box to check indicating if the member was admitted by renewal, new member, transfer, or reinstatement. In the top left corner printed in orange is a unique membership number. Dates for the cards range from 1930 to 1933.
The backs of the cards have a space to add other information, such as, listing members of their family eligible for Auxiliary Membership (mother, wife, sisters, or daughters), their service record, and additional charges that could be made to the member's account.
