History of the Church of the Holy Spirit by Elizabeth F. Crim, Church Historian, March 1973.
Provides a history of the construction of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Summit Point. Services began in 1875, but construction of the church did not begin until 1883. The land the church was built on was donated by Charles P. Willson and Dr. Pembrooke Grove. Charles P. Willson and Euphemia Goldsborough Willson were instrumental in raising funds for the church. The church building was completed in 1885.
