Alfred E. Baylor, Sr., and unidentified Harpers Ferry Job Corpsman doing stone work at Bloody Lane interpretive stop at Antietam Battlefield, summer 1967. Baylor was in a construction business with his father Eugene E. Baylor and brother Charles Baylor, as E. E. Baylor & Sons, African American building contractors. Afterwards, he continued work as a bricklayer and carpenter.
