Round, brass disc with raised insignia for the U.S. Army (image of an eagle holding a branch in one foot and arrows in the other, with banner above reading "E PLURIBUS UNUM"). Small metal handle or protrusion is attached to the back of the disc, perhaps to attach to a strap.
