LIB1122Description
This pamphlet contains a speech, given by Geo.P. Peterkin, at the 1911 meeting of the Daughters of the Confederacy. In this speech, Peterkin hypothesizes that the blockade of the goods for the Southern states was the real downfall of the South, instead of issues with the troops. If the South had been able to maintain trade relations with European nations, then they may have proved victorious.Acquisition
