Scope and Content

Leather bound ledger used as a day book of financial transactions from 1855 to 1870 by Lewis W. Washington of Beallair. In red portion of spine is "LEDGER". Inside on first page is signature "Lewis W. Washington" and "Beallair July 5th 1838". Contains a note regarding removal and recovery of ledger from Beallair.
