Linen "signature" cloth from the Bower, circa 1900. Among the names are Thomas Nelson Page (author), George W. Peterkin, first Episcopal Bishop of West Virginia, and members of the Dandridge, Pendleton, and Lee families. Names are entered in "People" section.
According to Louise Taylor McDonald, a Dandridge descendant, the signatures were added to the cloth over a period of about 20 years, from about 1894 to 1914.Acquisition
