Black cloth ribbon with gold colored wire fringe at bottom. Fire insignia with helmet, pump, hose, ladder, horn and torches near top. Marked "INDEPENDENT STEAM FIRE COMPANY NO. 1 CHARLES-TOWN, WEST VIRGINIA ORGANIZED JULY 14, 1884". Appears to have been a 2 sided ribbon as catalog #391 but red part has been cut off. Paper label on back says "S. N. MEYER, MANUFACTURER. 1411 PA. AVE. N.W. WASHINGTON, D.C."Acquisition
