Iron, wood and tin butter churn. The tin box for the churn has been painted gold inside and out. A heavy iron framework holds the box and supports the gears and paddles which go down into the box. The box has a drain hole which has been plugged with what appears to be a corn cob. The paddle is six-sided, star shaped. The two wooden lids on the box each have one round white ceramic handle. The only marks is the number "903" on the crank handle.
