Cooled melt or "melt reuse" from slowed production during the first batch of insulation produced at ROCKWOOL. Melt reuse consists of raw materials, primarily natural rock (basalt, raw bauxite & limestone), that was melted in the melting furnace, but was diverted to a cooling area due to a brief suspension of the production process. The melt reuse is later crushed and recycled back into the production process.Acquisition
