Phoebe LaRue and James Grantham seated beside one another. In a leather frame with gold colored metal surrounding the picture. Half of the frame is missing and the glass of the ambrotype is broken. Two small hooks for closing are on the right side.
James (1793-1861) and Phoebe LaRue Grantham (1799-1867) built Tudor Hall.
