Gray-tone reprint of photograph of Ranson taken on May 13, 1899. Photo was taken on John Deering Equipment Day and shows six to eight horse-drawn wagons with "Deering" signs on the sides of the wagons. Edward Henson's band is in the right foreground. In the background are the Crane house, the Woodward house, the "Dunaway" house, the Ranson Inn, and the Powhatan Hotel. Included with the photo is a photocopy of the photo and an article explaining the photo that appeared in a 1951 edition of The Jefferson Republican newspaper.
