Reproduction of 1869 S. Howell Brown map of Harpers Ferry. Brown was employed by the U. S. War Department to create an accurate map of the armory and arsenal property in preparation for the sale of the property. White or uncolored lots represented private property; burnt sienna outlined lots represent lots dedicated to town, charitable, educational, or religious purposes.
