Small piece of ingrain carpet. Colors are crimson, rose pink, cream and olive brown. Crudely sewn seam on one side. A piece of linen is sewn to one corner with the following written in ink: "This bit of carpet was brought from Hudson by Frank Tyler's Mother in 1842 & belonged to her Mother in 1832. New Haven Jan 1876 D. J. A. Tyler".
