Nineteen yearbooks for 1937 through 1954 and 1958 in which William Travers Coe recorded, almost-daily, personal, social, business, and/or weather information. Coe (1880-1962) lived at 513 South George Street, Charles Town, for many years.
Brown 6" x 9" manila-clasp envelope containing sheets of handwritten weather observations for most days of the month from February 1937 through November 1948. On outside of envelope is handwritten "Daily Weather from Black Book Feb '37 - Nov 48." The observations were recorded on 5" x 7 11/16" three-hole-punched graph paper with one month's observation on a sheet. Presumably observations were made by William Travers Coe (handwriting similar to that in yearbooks) at his home on 513 South George Street, Charles Town.
