World War I soldiers at present site of Charles Town Library and Jefferson County Museum. The building on the left was the office Dr. James M. Ranson, Jr. This group was the original American Legion members of Jackson Perks Post. The dentist's office became, with several additions, the building known as the Old Charles Town Library.
