A wooden box used for holding two types of ink at a time. There are two cut outs under a wooden flap to hold two jars of ink. In front of this there is a concave section in the container used to hold the fountain pen when not in use. It appears the ink containers held black ink on the right and red on the left due to ink stains on the wooden top.
