Scope and Content

A leap year party invitation to a 1888 event directed by the Y. L. M. I. A. organization of the Kaysville Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Context

Committee included Mrs. Sarah H. Sheffield, Mrs. Mary L. Hyde, Mrs. Sarah E. Taylor, Miss Minnie Williams, Miss Minnie Layton and Miss Carrie Butcher. Floor managers were Miss Minnie Williams and Mary L. Hyde. Photograph of invitation collected for the Kaysville - Fruit Heights Historical Committee and the book Kaysville, Our Town by Carol Collett to which Anderson was a contributor. Captured by camera in early 1970s by Anderson from historical original prints provided by Kaysville residents.
