Context

Mary Ann Phillips Lewis, pioneer, ran the confectionary. In the back of the ice cream shop was the Horace E. Lewis Photography Studio. The building was later used by Jed Sessions as a barber shop.

Photograph collected for the Kaysville - Fruit Heights Historical Committee and the book Kaysville, Our Town by Carol Collett to which Anderson was a contributor. Captured by camera in the early 1970s by Anderson from historical original prints created by unknown photographers and provided by Kaysville residents.
