Description

Arthur Butcher standing west of barn located off old Mountain Road in east Kaysville. Large building on the left is hay barn and later became a chicken coop. Building in center of photo is made of rock and was repair/machine shop. This shop would be on the upper north side of what is now Carrie Drive.

Context

The location of the photograph became Fruit Heights in 1939. Butcher family are descendants of William and Emma Wheatley Butcher, early settlers to east Kaysville.
