"Harriet Audubon
103 West Ormsby
Louisville, Ky
Jan. 30th. 1930
Dear Miss Towles,
I enclose a letter written by my Grandfather to his friend Dr. Richard Harlan of Philadelphia. The autograph had been cut off before the letter was given to me. I do not own any letter from which the signature had not been cut off. I remember, as a little child, my father, or uncle, (I do not remember which) asking him to write a number of signatures, because so many people asked for them. The enclosed is one of those signatures. Your most cordially,
Harriet B. Audubon"Collection
