Description
This is a small handwritten letter folded with two surfaces used. Transcription is as follows: "Cambridge, Nov. 21, 1908 My dear Mrs. Tyler, Thank you for your letter and the little book, which came safely. I return more the same thing in another copy which has some additions by Mr. Fisher Ames. He sent it to me for you. There is no need of any acknowledgement. I shall write to Azel Ames about your ancestor Suther, and I think the chances are good of his knowing. You shall certainly hear if any news comes. Please tell Mr. Tyler that some one at the library wrote to me about the medal and I have sent my check to him. So it is all right, and I expect the medal ____________. Very truly yours, J. B. __________." Possibly JBH (?)
