This colored lithograph was done by J. Wolf for Henry Dresser's 1871-1881 London publication, "History of the Birds of Europe". The lithograph details two male and female Harriers. The male faces left and is sitting on a rock while the female is in the background facing the front. At the bottom of the image is an inscription reading: "MARSH HARRIER. / CIRCUS AERUGINOSUS." The bottom-left reads: "J. Wolf del. J.Smit lith." The bottom-right reads: "Hanhart imp." The top-left reads: "324".Artwork Details
