This is a handwritten note on a notecard (part a) concerning the "Audubon Cup" - the silver goblet given by Audubon to Robert Havell upon completion of volume three of the Birds of America. Part of the transcription of the note reads, "'Audubon Cup" / the hall marks were / made by [ …] "They state the cup / was made in London Eng / in 1833 by / Thomas Wilmor / Feby 25, 1933 / Harry P Havell." Part b is an envelope addressed: "Mr. Harry P. Havell / 33 on 17 Street / East Orange / New Jersey." The envelope is post-marked "New York May 6 1914."Collection
