This is a pencil sketch of the Audubon House as it appeared in 1865 Minniesland, New York. The image details the house from its right side with a child and 2 ducks on the pathway in the foreground. A man can also be seen on the left standing on the house's back porch, overlooking the field in the background. At the bottom-center is a series of inscriptions that read: "The Audubon House in 1865. / "Minniesland" New York". An inscription in the top-left corner has been lost due to a tear in the paper.
The backside also contains an inscription reading: "For The Transylvania Society. / Sent by Mrs. Julia Alves Clore."
